What is it about?

Despite some hesitation about screening for suicide risk in primary care, such screening is often a natural consequence of universal adolescent depression screening efforts. The current study sought to understand the rates of suicide risk detected via depression screening and the follow-up care at-risk adolescents receive in primary care. This work has the potential to aid in refining adolescent suicide risk identification and follow-up procedures in primary care.
