What is it about?
This paper analyzes Marketplace insurers' performance with respect to four measures of behavioral healthcare quality in 2019. Our findings suggest that performance was highest for antidepressant medication management and lowest for initiation and engagement of drug dependence treatment. Both ownership status and Medicaid managed care plan status were associated with performance.
