What is it about?
Evidence-based assessment plays a critical role in the delivery of effective treatment. Two large, multidisciplinary surveys of clinicians in usual care were conducted to examine how clinicians' assessment practices align with evidence-based assessment. Findings indicate that clinicians conduct assessment throughout the treatment process, but may not use standardized measures, and that further training and practice assessment resources are needed.
