What is it about?

Using large population-based and diverse phenotypic data with rich genetic information, our study demonstrated a genetic overlap between stress-related disorders and autoimmune disease, highlighting the importance of the shared genes and functional modules including the one related to GPCR pathways in the noted phenotypic association between these disorders. These results have implications for improved understanding of the common biological mechanisms of these diseases and may open up for refined efforts in disease prevention and intervention.
