What is it about?

Depression and substance use disorder frequently co-occur. We assessed the receipt of high-quality depression treatment of veterans receiving care at the Veterans Health Administration. We found that patients with both disorders received lower-quality depression treatment, including both antidepressant and psychotherapy treatment than those without depression treatment.
