What is it about?
A posterior diagnostic technique about observation impacts
Featured Image
Why is it important?
Since an observation impact study can provide valuable information for the improvement of NWP and the observing system, almost all the major NWP centers worldwide have developed their own diagnostic techniques to assess the impacts of observations on NWP.
Perspectives
Writing this article is a very important thing for me, because observational impact research has always been the research that I and co-authors want to conduct, and one of the most urgently needed diagnostic tools for the development of GRAPES assimilation system.
