What is it about?
Neonatal oxygen exposure in rats is a model to study premature birth and related outcomes. Here we identify that neonatal oxygen exposure results in elevated pulmonary pressures (pulmonary hypertension) and late onset right ventricular dysfunction due to impaired mitochondrial function.
