Why is it important?

Corruption is a scourge in developing countries like Kenya as it impedes progress both at individual level and the national level. It is important to understand the drivers of corruption in order to manage or alleviate corruption.

Perspectives

The war on corruption might be futile if indeed such a vice is inborn. However, if it is about nurture, then it can be cured by addressing the triggers within the environment that exacerbate corrupt practices among people. This is the perspective this study takes.
