Extensive intraperitoneal and extraperitoneal spread of ovarian cancer is challenging. Multidisciplinary management gives excellent results in patient care.

Why is it important?
Most tumours in tumour sanctuary sites can be missed during debulking surgery for ovarian cancer. Working with hepatopancreatobiliary, as well as cardio-thoracic surgeons, and with the aid of computerized tomography scans, metastasis to the pleura, diaphragm and liver were excised, with excellent results.
Perspectives
This case enabled me to operate with seasoned surgeons who added value to the successful management of this patient. She had recurrence after optimal debulking surgery. She has been disease free since after this multidisciplinary surgery
