This study reviewed the cases of cervical cancer in our centre and provided information on the prevalence, commonest presentations, and treatments.

Why is it important?
Cervical cancer is preventable disease through vaccination, screening and early treatment. This study revealed the gaps in our setting and the need to improve on them.
Perspectives
Cervical cancer scourge can be ameliorated in resource poor settings by the improvement of facilities and personnel for robust health awareness, vaccination, screening and prompt/effective treatment.
