What is it about?

This report presents an unusual case of a giant mediastinal mass with internal calcifications. Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) examination revealed extensive blood-filled spaces at the periphery of the lesion, with delayed-phase contrasted imaging subsequently confirming a giant hemangioma. Included is a discussion of the differential diagnosis for partially calcified mediastinal masses.
