What is it about?

Recent data show that Aspergillus species are common respiratory infections in children with cystic fibrosis but their biological significance is unknown. Data from this study show that preschool children with early Aspergillus respiratory infections have increased respiratory symptoms, increased requirement for hospitalizations and their structural lung disease progresses more rapidly.
