What is it about?

Our study demonstrates that ~one third of close relatives of patients with pulmonary fibrosis had chest CT abnormalities suggestive of an early stage of pulmonary fibrosis. These imaging abnormalities were equally common in close relatives of patients from a families where there was one, or more than one, known case of pulmonary fibrosis in the family.
