What is it about?

Sarcoidosis may manifest in CT investigation with different patterns, and differential diagnosis is always a challenge for the most radiologist, mainly for the atypical presentations. In our report, we show a very rare case of sarcoidosis on HRCT images, characterized by multiple large bilateral mass-like ground-glass opacities, almost localized in the upper lobes with a symmetrical distribution. To the best of our knowledge this is the second case with this atypical HRCT pattern of sarcoidosis.
