Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) mortality rates continue to increase in the United States. There are significant differences in IPF-related mortality between demographic subgroups. We explore recent trends in IPF-related mortality at the national level, focusing on differing levels of disease impact across various demographic groups - including race, sex, and age.
