What is it about?

Pentecostals have lived, worked and worshipped in Europe since before the First World War. This is one of the first books to try to cover the whole continent and, drawing on the insights and expertise of indigenous authors, speaks about the history and theology of Pentecostals. French, German, Dutch, British, Russian, Portuguese, Italian and other Pentecostals are all described here.

Why is it important?

This is a book that tries to cover the Continent. It is not an encyclopaedia but it gives in-depth chapters about Pentecostals, their beliefs, their networks and their struggles. It covers their theology and their turbulent history.

Perspectives

We drew together international expertise to provide the perspectives assembled here. Charismatic Christians as well as classical Pentecostals are given a chance to be heard.
