What is it about?

For a relatively brief period of time, Jewish and Christian scholars in 12 century Northern France studied scripture together and advanced the plain sense understanding of the Bible. While mutual suspicion and animosity frequently surfaced, these particular interactions were relatively peaceful compared to those that characterized the harsh Christian persecution of European jury during the 13th through 16th centuries

I am continually fascinated by how 12th century Jewish and Christian scholars overcame a great number of obstacles in order to increase the understanding of the plain sense of scripture and did not hesitate to engage in discourse with one another to suit that purpose
