What is it about?
This chapter examines hagiographic accounts by focusing on their portrayal of ritual practices. Specifically, this chapter focuses on how disagreements, interruptions, and inconsistencies in religious rituals are portrayed and help to develop sociocultural articulation, especially in social contexts marked by competition or struggle.
