What is it about?
This piece introduces the complex system of lists, cross-references, prefaces, and other items that comprise the Euthalian tradition to the New Testament. These items appear in over 600 Greek manuscripts to Acts, the Pauline Epistles, and Catholic Epistles, making them important for understanding the history of the New Testament's interpretation and the way that the manuscripts were produced over time (from the 6th to the 18th centuries). In addition to describing the Euthalian tradition, the introduction also guides readers in using the catalogue as tool for many different critical questions.
