Perspectives
This article is a thoughtful, well-structured, and socially impactful piece of research that captures the lived experiences of the author and co-authors. It does not only document the challenges faced by international students but also celebrates their resilience and contributions. It invites institutions to reflect critically on their practices and to foster environments that are truly inclusive and supportive. The use of photovoice alongside focus group discussions is a powerful participatory method that allows students to express their lived experiences visually and narratively. This enriches the data and empowers participants as co-constructors of knowledge.
