What is it about?
There is a body of French contemporary novels published by les editions de Minuit which have been considered minimalist, impassible, postmodern. I contend that these labels are hasty and that we can read those novels in a post-critique key: they are full of affects, of humanity, manifest in material details (as for instance the content of pockets)
