Why is it important?
The Sufi author Ibn al-Arabi develops two contradicting notions, the first is mystical and the second is philosophic.
Perspectives
Since I wrote several articles dealing with religion versus philosophy, and a book on traditionalism rationalism in Islamic theology, Ibn al-Arabi fascinates me, because his thought is not only includes traditionalist and rationalist, but also mystical ideas.
