What is it about?
The article deals with the development of the Middle Assyrian language period (c. 1500-1000 BC), taking into account the different types of linguistic expression in individual text genres. Among other things, it is important to work out whether the texts give indications of different sub-dialects. Likewise, it will be discussed how neighbouring languages might have influenced Assyrian.
