What is it about?
The aim of this work is to make Aristotle’s meaning and method in Book 8 of his Physics more accessible, and to represent it more accurately. The treatment of Aristotle’s text is organised passage-by-passage, normally in the order Translation, Analysis of the reasoning, Commentary on alternative construals and larger issues raised in the scholarship, and then Notes on particular points.
