What is it about?
This is the fourth chapter of my monograph, _In Good Company: The Body and Divinization in the Thought of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, SJ and Daoist Xiao Yingsou_. It gives an overview of Xiao and the vision of alchemy and the body as it appears in his text, _The Inner Meaning of the Scripture of Salvation_. A translation of the introduction to this work appears in the appendix and a detailed description of the important "Mountain Diagram" appear in appendix one and two. Although appendices, these make important contributions to Daoist Studies.

Why is it important?
This book reimagines the resurrected body in such a way as to increase appreciation for our physical bodies in the present life. It gives a renewed view of the body that amplifies the spiritual significance of body, creation, and physicality.
Perspectives
This is my initial attempt to articulate the intuitions I've gained from a comparative reading of Daoism and Christianity that answers many of my own questions of faith.
