What is it about?

Bishop Stephen Gardiner preached at Paul's Cross in Lent 1540 - he usurped Lent 1 from Robert Barnes who had to then preach later that Lent. Barnes attacked Gardiner's sermon, and also his person, this led to Barnes and two other Reformers being martyred. Henry VIII, the same day executed three Catholics. This is followed by an examination of Henry VIII's leaning towards Reform.
