What is it about?
The article begins by discussing the flaws of critical pedagogy in the 21st century from the perspective of the Global South. It then moves on to demonstrate how these flaws have been a springboard for alternate radical social justice pedagogies arising from the Global South. These pedagogies speak mainly to the social and cognitive justice needs for indigenous populations, the wretched of the earth, women, etc.
