Why is it important?

This article is about an oral tradition in India and Pakistan, which is slightly disappearing because of the Sindhi diaspora. It is thus an important testimony of this tradition. The article also contains an example of Bhagat song, which illustrates the traditional background of these artists.

Perspectives

The song example transcribed in the paper could be enriched by other ones that I recorded during my thesis work in India.
