What is it about?
This paper focuses on the only two countries that adopted the constructive vote of no-confidence while being established democracies. The paper explores the circumstances and intentions that brought about the adoption of the constructive vote of no-confidence in Belgium and Israel and the implications of the adoption of the mechanism on the countries' political systems._x000D_ The findings suggest that both Belgium and Israel adopted the constructive vote of no-confidence out of a desire to stabilize their governments, but only Belgium experienced a clear improvement in government stability.
