What is it about?
While there is an increasing body of literature focusing on gender in parliament with specifics to women's representation and participation. In this article, I explore the challenges of employing feminist methodologies to research about women legislators in the Uganda parliament. By focusing on two methodological perspectives; empiricism and feminist stand point, this articles explores the advantages of adopting either perspectives but illuminating the benefits of standpoint theory in feminist parliamentary research.
