Why is it important?

The article addresses an gap in educational leadership as no previous empirical research has been undertaken to explore the organizational socialization of headteachers in the field of international education. The findings demonstrate that British satellite college groups are using sophisticated organizational socialization tactics to ensure custodial outcomes for headteachers despite the fact that the challenges faced by onboarding headteachers are diverse and complex.
