What is it about?

Environmental challenges, such as loss of biodiversity, habitat fragmentation, climate change and plastic pollution, highlight the ethical complexities of human-induced challenges. By assessing these intersections, this paper AIMS to emphasize the need for a holistic approach, combining cutting-edge technologies, ethical research, and transparent media communication strategies, to ensure optimal conservation outcomes. Conservation efforts for critically endangered or even for technically extinct species such as the northern white rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum cottoni), present a multifaceted challenge, including the application of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) The paper concludes with perspectives for optimizing the synergy between the dimensions of spear heading conservation research technologies, ethics and communication.
