What is it about?
This article highlights the importance of a prominent festival, named Saptasvarupa, celebrated in the Indian town of Nathdwara (Rajasthan) in 1822. Considering the lack of textual sources on this important event, this study uses a miniature painting on the subject to underline the significance of this celebration.
