Beyond Fundamentalism

What is it about?

We are presenting the qualitative findings from cohorts 1-6 of Vocati in which teenagers from fundamentalist backgrounds were asked, "What are the most important issues associated with being Christian in a global world?" The young people highlight the tension between the fundamentalist "wall of virtue" and not being a judgmental or hypocritical Christian. In the discussion, we examine how the Vocati program reframes the faith of young people from fundamentalist backgrounds through something similar to Didier Pollefeyt’s hermeneutical-communicative pedagogical model.
