What is it about?
We explored types and intensities of students’ emotions related to participation in school-based SSI club project related to climate change to consider what impact these activities may have on promoting action in youth. Students participated in club activities to model causes/impacts of climate change, explore local problems related to climate change, and plan and participate in social action to fight climate change. We found that the activities influenced on students' emotions and have the potential to support students to become more active to fight climate change through social engagement.
