Why is it important?
We cannot deny that the sedentary social media lifestyle has recently escalated. During spending much time on social networking sites (SNSs), serious concepts are passively acquired. Violence, racism and preoccupation are some examples. Measuring violence on SNSs wises up users to the potential threat of such sites. Therefore, I apply a cognitive-computational method to detect violence on Facebook. To do so, I apply a cognition-based machine-readable stratified lexicon to measure the several types of violence on Facebook.
