What is it about?
Removing the canopy over Norway spruce is a common practice. We studied this at two forest sites in the boreal zone. We looked at how the trees phloem changed over two years after the canopy was removed. This helps us understand how trees respond to changing conditions and choose the best practices to promote Norway spruce regeneration.
