Anatomy of a fossil liana from the Upper Cretaceous of British Columbia, Canada

What is it about?

Plant fossils from Collishaw Point, Hornby Island, British Columbia provide data on the flora of the region during the Late Cretaceous, 72 million years ago. In this study, the authors describe a new species of climbing plant based on fossil stems with well-preserved anatomy.
