This paper has discussed how rhetorical and pragmatic language of the Qur'an is interpreted and translated into English. It shows how figures of speech interact and interface to produce unique aesthetic language of sacred texts in the target language ( English)

Why is it important?
This paper may significantly help target readers understand the complex nature of irony as a figure of speech intersecting with other figures i.e. parody, metaphor, hyperbole, satire, pun, metonymy etc. The study also proposes new effective strategies helping interpret and translate irony interface with other figures of speech. Thus, it enhances pragmatic understanding and realization of the intended meanings of figurative language of the Qur'an.
Perspectives
I think this paper is significant for those interesting and working on cross-cultural analysis of pragmatics and translation of the most valuable Islamic Book ' the Qur'an'. This may thus convey the true view of the intended meaning of the Qur'an.
