What is it about?
During navigation through space, we received input from different sensory modalities. Here, we have investigated if and how visual perception of self-motion direction (i.e. heading) is influenced by a behaviorally irrelevant tactile heading cue (tactile flow). Our results suggest that tactile flow is more tightly linked to self-motion perception than previously thought.
