What is it about?

Emotion distorts our perception of time. Theories suggest that this may be because emotion affects our internal clock, or, because it affects attention during timing. This study examined overt attentional allocation during the timing of emotional images, using eye-movement analysis. The study showed that emotional modulation of overt attentional processes was not predictive of emotional distortions to time.
