What is it about?

Many people feel that life speeds up as they grow older. This study shows that the subjective experience of time is associated to perceptions of time pressure. When people do not have enough time to complete things, they feel that time is passing fast. Because people recall that they had been busy recently but do not recall that they had been busy long ago, they feel that time is currently passing faster than time did in the past.
