The Bacchius Fragment: A Critical Edition

What is it about?

In the present paper, the manuscript tradition of Bacchius fragment is examined, allowing the restoration and the establishment of its archetype in the ninth century which in turn releases Bacchius’ terminus ante quem from the tenth century. Moreover, a new critical edition of the fragment is presented, accompanied by a brief commentary on its content.
