What is it about?
The article discusses the idea of generic constitutionalism by resorting to the analysis of the most relevant case law of the Japanese Supreme Court. The Japanese Court, influenced by the Western Legal Tradition, resorts to some adjudication techniques such as the reasonableness test and the proportionality test, though with a significant cultural imprinting.
