What is it about?

This study introduces a new model to help manage performance in projects where universities and companies work together. The Quadrant Model measures how innovative these partnerships are, focusing on projects at the UFRJ Science Park. Researchers looked at 332 projects from six big companies that have been at the park for over seven years. The study found that these companies are investing heavily in high-risk, high-uncertainty projects. The new model helps understand and manage innovation better, offering practical guidance for managers and decision-makers in such collaborative settings.
