Social Progress and Environmental Performance as Boosters for Innovation in LAC: an Econometric Analysis

What is it about?

Exploring innovation in nations is common, but mostly in the Global North. Our study dives into Latin American and Caribbean countries, often overlooked. Using quantitative methods on GII, EPI, and SPI indices for 127 countries since 2012, we found cohesion in innovation among LAC nations. Good news: innovation and environmental performance correlate positively.
