What is it about?
This study looked at how certain bacteria in the gut might help with obesity-related health issues, including brain dysfunction. We tested four types of bacteria in mice fed a high-fat diet. One bacteria of the genus Coprococcus showed some protection against obesity and its complications. However, our study us inconclusive regarding brain health benefits. This suggests that one of the bacteria could be beneficial for health, but more research is needed to fully understand its effects, especially on the brain.
