Why is it important?

there are important issues still outstanding in the understanding both of Collingwood's relationship with the Italian neo-idealists and in his views on the philosophy of history. This paper explores these issues in relation to Peters's book, which is, itself, an important contribution to this much needed debate.

Perspectives

Writing this article was an excellent opportunity for me to be able to gather together some of my thinking on Collingwood and the Italian ne-idealists.
