What is it about?

This paper examined organizational resilience of Catalan agri-food supply chain based on social capital theory to provide practical lessons to improve the organizational response and recovery of firms. The Catalan supply chain showed flexibility amid the pandemic when it came to meeting the basic requirements of a confined population. Social capital, firm size and marketing channel diversification contribute to assuring organizational survival. Structural capital was identified as a key factor with regard to enhancing both the reactive and proactive resilience of firms.
