What is it about?

Many believers, and most classical Pentecostals, trust God to heal them when they get ill. They justify their belief in terms of what the Bible states about petitionary prayer for healing, and especially the example of Jesus' ministry of healing. They regularly testify that God had miraculously answered their prayers. The question is asked whether it is possible at all to claim that any prayer has been answered. Some suggest that it is better to stay agnostic about answered prayers because it cannot be proven in scientific terms. In this article, the question is considered, based on the proof of biblical evidence and Pentecostals' regard for charismatic experiences that serve to inform their theology.
